Principal Justin Dye was interviewed on Fox 10 News where he discussed the work that La Paloma Academy, in conjunction with 1Mission, does to help needy families in Mexico. Each year, La Paloma Academy families and staff go to Rocky Point over spring break and build a home for a family in need. Principal Dye said, “At La Paloma Academy, we talk a lot about families in need and reaching out. The family we’ll be helping has a weekly income of $65 for a family of five, which students find very eye-opening.” This year’s trip is from March 9 to March 12.
