Friday, October 6, will end the first quarter of school. Students will have an early release, and there will be no after-school care. Parents, please plan accordingly.

Whether you’re buying or selling, you’re invited to be a part of Goshen Ministries’ Community Yard Sale and Craft Fair on Saturday, October 14, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the covered parking lot of La Paloma Central.

Every Wednesday is Duds for Dollars day at La Paloma Central. Students who pay $1 to their teacher will be allowed to wear any school-appropriate clothing they like. Join us from 5-7 p.m. at McDonald's on the NW corner of Grant Rd. and Tanque Verde Rd. Have a great meal, let the kids loose at the indoor PlayPlace, and socialize with other La Paloma families. Central will receive 10% of sales for this event, so you'll be helping the school while having fun!

Students who sold more than 11 coupon books during September’s Coupon Book Fundraiser were promised a limousine ride to Peter Piper Pizza, and the big day is this week. At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, a limo will pick up our ambitious winners and take them all for pizza. No autographs, please.

Harvest Fest, La Paloma’s annual celebration of autumn, takes place on Friday, October 27, from 6-8:30 p.m. Among the fun activities this year will be a dunking tank, obstacle course, jumping castle, and much more.
