MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES

La Paloma Academy Heritage has partnered with Care Solace to help our families find the mental health and substance use care they need. When you or someone in your family needs help, it can be hard to know where to turn. Care Solace does the searching for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Care Solace is free for our students and families.

Care Solace has a network of more than 700,000 providers and services. The program gives La Paloma Academy Heritage families:

  • A dedicated Care Companion who helps at every step, from researching options to booking appointments
  • Providers who accept all medical insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare, plus sliding-scale options for families without insurance
  • Support in many languages, available around the clock
  • Follow-up after appointments to make sure the provider is a good fit

Care Solace can connect families to many kinds of care. These include therapy for individuals, couples, and families; psychological assessments; psychiatry; Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA); intensive outpatient and residential programs; and medical detox. Families can get help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and stress, eating concerns, substance use, and more. Care Solace can also connect families to food assistance, housing and shelter resources, and free or low-cost medical and dental care.

After a quick screening, Care Solace matches you with at least two providers. It can take several days to find a match. Your Care Companion keeps you updated by text, phone, or email, whichever you prefer.
